Welcome to BASSSMITH’S Lake Fork Fishing Report for the week of 04-10-17
The lake is 1.19 below full pool and water temps are anywhere from 67-74 degrees. Lake Fork is in the full moon phase and bass are spawning from one end of the lake to the other. My clients are catching anywhere from 10 to 25 bass a day with 1 or 2 of those going over 5lb or better.
My clients are catching them early on black buzz baits and poppers. Mid day they are throwing V&M Chop Sticks and flukes. In the afternoon they throw mini c-rigs, shaky head brush hogs and swim baits. We are fishing all day in water from 1′ to 15′ depending on time of day and technique.
