Where does one begin when trying to describe Colorado fishing and the many thousands of beautiful places sportsmen can wet a line? The streams and rivers are endless and the trout fishing, the major draw for visiting anglers, is probably the best in the entire country. Guided Fishing in Colorado
Fishing in Colorado, especially with a qualified guide means you will likeky catch what the state fishing is so well known for, trout. Rainbow trout would probably be the most targeted fish in Colorado but it’s certainly not the only fish as there is a rich variety of other species available. If you aren’t fishing one of the many rivers or streams then your guide may possibly take you walleye fishing on one of the many Colorado reservoirs.
There are thousands of miles of streams in Colorado and over 2,000 lakes and reservoirs to fish throughout the state. As we have stated previously, the angling opportunities for large trout and other species are endless. It may even be a bit overwhelming if you are an amateur angler so a guided fishing trip may be your best chance for a successful trip.
For you expert or avid anglers we obviously don’t have to tell you where to fish or what to target, but for a novice or amateur angler then a professional Colorado fishing guide would probably be a good idea as they will help you find a spot to fish, help you target the proper fish species for the area, and teach you how to catch them, or catch and release them if you wish to conserve a bit.
